How it works?

While activated, the badge at the same time broadcasts and listens to Bluetooth Low Energy advertising signal.

It is also connected via wifi to the central server.

During an interaction MQTT publishes the encounter to the server which processes the points and updates. MQTT then pushes the notification back to the badge.
