The Philosophy: Long Live the Badge!#

Conference badges are often treated like single-use fibreglass-exciting for a weekend, only to spend the rest of their lives gathering dust in a drawer or contributing to electronic waste. At OrangeCon, we believe in a different lifecycle. The core philosophy behind our hardware selection is sustainability through utility.

We intentionally designed this badge around a robust, mainstream, and commercial prototyping platform. Our intention is not meant to be a gimmick but a highly adaptable tool meant to outlast the closing ceremony. By flashing alternative firmwares, adding physical expansion modules, or coding your own scripts, you transform your badge from a simple event badge into a permanent fixture of your development environment, smart home, or pentesting toolkit.
